LABEL NEWS: Lundvall Honored By Nordoff-Robbins & Mottola Signs Usher to Champion Entertainment

(CelebrityAccess News Service) – EMI Classics and Jazz President Bruce Lundvall was honored September 8 for his 40 years in the music business, with the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Foundation's Silver Clef Award. Norah Jones, Dianne Reeves and Cassandra Wilson
performed at the annual benefit dinner. Making a surprise visit was former president Bill Clinton.

Lundvall is also a director of the Foundation.

Ticket proceeds from the evening benefits the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Foundation helps severely handicapped and autistic children through music at its clinic at New York University.–Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner

Mottola Signs Usher to Champion Entertainment

(CelebrityAccess News Service) – Tommy Mottola has signed Usher to Champion Entertainment.

"I'm real excited," Mottola told The New York Post. "He's the next one that I think will blow up – like Justin Timberlake has. It's just the beginning." Usher's next album is due in the first quarter of 2004.
