TORONTO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation is preparing for the July 3rd debut of one of their newest venues, Echo Beach at Molson Amphitheatre.
The venue will be situated near an inlet called Brigantine Cove in a space formerly used for basketball and beach volleyball and will have a capacity of up to 5,000 fans.
The opening concert on June 3rd will be a gig by Swedish artist Robyn with support from Diamond Rings and Natalia Kills.
"Robyn was looking for something cool and unique," said Brian Kehoe, marketing manager with Live Nation. "It’s not a space we have utilized in the past."
Live Nation also operates the adjacent semi-enclosed Molson Canadian Amphitheatre, which has a capacity of 16,000. – I. Courtney
