Live Nation Looks Radiant

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has tapped Radiant Systems to handle the deployment of the promoter's new Quest point-of-sale (pos) system in its venues across the United States.

Radiant will install its hosted Quest VenueManager back-office solution, VersaTerm POS and V-Touch POS terminals in 18 of Live Nation top-grossing venues. These sites include the Comcast Center in Massachusetts and Susquehanna Bank Center in New Jersey among others. Live Nation hopes that the new POS system will enhance the speed and accuracy of transactions at concessions and will allow credit transactions for the first time at many of the upgraded venues.

The new system will also give Live Nation a better handle on the underlying business stats of their venues and let them perform deeper analysis of purchasing habits of individual fans across multiple visits.

"We drive more than $100 million in food and beverage sales through our North American venues annually," said Jason Garner, Live Nation’s chief executive officer of North American music. "We have consistently grown this business over the last several years and believe that the addition of the efficiencies and data that we gain with the Quest system will allow us to continue that growth trend into the future." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
