JACKSONVILLE, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A Jacksonville man was arrested after allegedly calling 911 to request a police escort to a Lil' Wayne concert in nearby Miami.
According to First Coast News, 20-year-old Michael Kruse called 911 to report illness, allegedly telling the dispatcher that he had been smoking marijuana. Deputies with the Sheriff's Office found Kruse but handed him over to a relative with a stern warning about misusing 911.
Several hours later, Kruse again called 911, this time while driving on I-95. Kruse told the operator that he wanted a police escort or even a helicopter to take him to a Lil' Wayne concert in Miami.
The dispatcher convinced Kruse to pull off onto a side road where he was subsequently arrested for misuse of 911 by deputies. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
