New Jersey Facilities Union Leader Pleads Guilty

SECAUCUS, NJ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A former town union leader pleaded guilty to embezzling at least $120,000 from the union and spending the money on everything from cases of champagne to huge tips for belly dancers, blowing up to $6,000 on a night out.

The Star-Ledger reports that David Feeback of North Carolina, was the president of Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Local 69, in Secaucus, New Jersey, from 1997 to 2001. He was also a trustee of the welfare fund of the 2,900 member union, half of whose members work at Giants Stadium.

Feeback pleaded guilty to two counts of embezzlement, one count related to the union funds, and the other from the employee welfare fund. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
