LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Tony Award winning actress, singer and songwriter Idina Menzel has announced that she's scrapping the lion's share of her fall tour in order to rejoin the hit Fox series "Glee" for their third season.
In a post on her website, Menzel writes: "Friends, as many of you know I am extremely excited about returning to Glee, yet it comes with one drawback, which is that due to my filming schedule I will have to cancel a majority of my upcoming November tour dates, which I am so disappointed about. I hope you can understand. I was truly looking forward to seeing all of you and will do my best to make it up to you as soon as I can. Lots of love, Idina."
Menzel plays the role of Shelby Corcoran, Rachel Berry's (played by actor Lea Michele) mother and the coach of a rival Glee club, we are reliably told.
