LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Mean Fiddler is set to renovate and re-open The Garage in North London in late June, making it the first venue to be re-opened since MAMA Group teamed up with HMV in the Mean Fiddler Group joint venture.
According to MusicWeek, the announcement of the renovation and opening puts to rest the uncertainty that had surrounded the future of the venue. The Garage's calendar is already filling up and dates with performers such as Prefuse (July 9th) The BossHoss (July 15th) and the Godfathers (July 24th) are already confirmed.
The partnership between MAMA and HMV, first announced in January 09, includes 11 different venues around the UK,. including The Garage, The Hammersmith Apollo, Borderline, The Edinburgh Picture House and G-A-Y Bar. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
