WASHINGTON, DC (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Swedish indie rockers Peter Bjorn and John have been forced to cancel a string of tourdates after John Eriksson injured his shoulder.
Affected dates thus far include September 5th at La Tulipe in Montreal, Septmeber 7th at the House of Blues in Boston and September 9th's show at the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C.
The band did not announce how Eriksson injured his shoulder, or how serious the injury is, but the band hinted in their blog that it was the result of 11 straight days of performances.
"I cant almost move my right shoulder today. It´s been getting worse for the last 3 days but today I feel like Charlie Watts, maybe. 11 punk-rock-gigs for 11 days in a row was apparently too hard for a weak swedish drummer. Think it could be the cowbell’s fault but I´m not sure." Erriskon wrote in a post on said blog. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
