Simon & Garfunkel Considering Reunion Tour

(CelebrityAccess News Service) — There is a proposed Simon & Garfunkel reunion tour being booked for the fall. John Scher,
manager of Art Garfunkel, told CelebrityAccess he is having a series of preliminary
discussions with Eddie Simon and Jeff Kramer, Simon's team.

The proposed 30-date tour of mostly indoor venues, comes on the heels of the duo's
"reunion" at the Grammys earlier this year where they performed "The Sounds of Silence. The last
time they performed together was on their 1994 Concert Event of a Lifetime tour, which
included 21 sold-out shows at New York's Paramount Theater.

Prior to their Grammy appearance, a joint statement was issued downplaying any type
of reunion: "Despite speculation that there is a reunion tour in the works, there have been no
discussions–either with their respective managers or with Paul and Art themselves about a
tour." — By Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
