Social Media Personality Taxstone Reportedly Arrested In Connection To Irving Plaza Shooting

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Social media figure and hip-hop podcaster Taxstone of Taxseason, was reportedly arrested in connection to the 2016 shooting during a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza that left one man – Ronald McPhatter- dead and three injured.

According to NBC News, Taxstone, whose real name Daryl Campbell, was arrested by federal agents in New York on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Shortly after the Irving Plaza shooting last year, McPhatter's brother took to social media to identify Taxstone as the alleged shooter. According to McPhatter's brother, Taxstone allegedly had a gun and was shooting at both Ronald McPhatter and rapper Troy Ave before dropping the firearm.

Taxstone has repeatedly denied involvement in the shooting on multiple occasions in public venues, including a radio interview in July where he said: “I don’t know nothing about that sh*t. I don’t know what’s wrong with people. Shout out to the internet. The internet is crazy.”

Taxstone is known for his Tax Season podcast on the Loud Speakers Network and his frank commentary on Twitter, where he has amassed a significant following. – Staff Writers
