LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — The Orchard and Red Essential announced plans to merge their UK operations to one company that will operate under the Orchard banner.
The new company – which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, will be lead by Red Essentail's co-managing directors Ian Dutt and Mike Chadwick. The new firm will offer services including physical and digital, sales, marketing, promotion, synch licensing, neighboring rights, strategy and analysis in more than 30 markets.
The combined companies currently include partnerships with artists such as Skepta, Run The Jewels, Giggs, Joey BadA$$, Lower Than Atlantis, Alter Bridge and Anderson .Paak. As well, the two companies have ongoing partnerships with labels including Cooking Vinyl, Cherry Red, Snapper, Red Bull Records, Demon, Thirty Tigers and the London Symphony Orchestra.
