LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A website has been created to provide potential members of a class action lawsuit against Ticketmaster with information on the suit and how to file to participate.
The lawsuit, originally filed way back in October of 2003, challenge Ticketmaster’s Order Processing Fee and the fee it charges customers who select the UPS Delivery option when purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster's website. According to the suit, Ticketmaster deceived customers into believing that they were 'pass through' fees that UPS charged to Ticketmaster when instead, they were little more than profit margin for ticketing giant.
The suit is asking that Ticketmaster repay each class member any money that the company made as a result of conduct that was found to be illegal.
Ticketmaster disputes that its conduct is illegal and also disputes that the Class members are entitled to any refunds.
