LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Irish rockers U2 have added a handful of dates to their upcoming tour of Europe and North America, due to strong demand.
"We are working to satisfy the incredible demand," Arthur Fogel, head of global touring for Live Nation, said in a statement.
The new dates are for Barcelona and London, bringing the total number of shows in each market up to three and five respectively.
U2's iNNOCENCE and eXPERIENCE Tour kicks off in Vancouver in Canada in May and the 19-city trek will be their first outing since their marathon 360 tour, which stretched from 2009 to 2011 and proved to be the highest grossing tour in history, with a total box office of more than 700 million. – Staff Writers
