NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — New York based indie rock group TV On The Radio has been forced to cancel their planned tour of Europe and the UK after Jaleel Bunton, the band's drummer, was hospitalized for an unspecified illness.
"It is with much regret that due to a health emergency, we are forced to cancel our upcoming Europe/UK tour which is due to start this Friday. Our drummer, Jahphet is in the hospital; he will be ok but is not able to travel at this time. We apologize to all our European & UK fans and appreciate everyone’s understanding and well wishes for Jahphet at this time," a spokesperson for the band wrote in a post on their Facebook page.
The group had been set to start their 12-date outing in support of their latest album, ‘Seeds,’ with a Feb. 6th show in Milan, Italy. It is unclear if Bunton's illness will affect the group's U.S. dates in March, which start with a March 15th show at the House of Blues in Houston. – Staff Writers
