LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has promoted Michael Yerke to the position of President for Talent for its House of Blues chain. Yerke will be based out of the company's Los Angeles headquarters.
Yerke's new portfolio will include overseeing talent buyers at all 13 of the House of Blues clubs in the US as well as Live Nation's other clubs and theaters in the US.
"Michael has a proven track record as one of the most respected and experienced talent bookers in our industry and I am confident he will successfully lead the booking team as we grow our HOB, club and theater businesses in 2009," said Yerke's boss, Ben Weeden, Live Nation North American Music COO.
Heretofore, Yerke has been toiling as Live Nations' VP of booking in the midwest. He's no stranger to the HoB chain and was on the original team who launched the HoB venue in Chicago where he had experience as a talent buyer. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
