CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess) — Chicago-based boutique talent agency Flowerbooking announced that after a 28-year run, they were retiring, effective Nov. 30th.
“It’s been an incredible ride and we thank each and every one of you for your contribution to our story. We certainly didn’t imagine the length and width of this adventure when we started back in 1990,” a statement posted to the agency’s website said.
Owner Susanne Dawursk launched Flowerbooking in 1990 with her longtime colleague Tim Edwards joining the agency in 1997. Both Dawursk and Edwards are still contactable at their current email address for the foreseeable future.
Agent Mahmood Shaikh has made the jump to the Boston-based booking agency Concerted Efforts, along with his roster including The Album Leaf, Author & Punisher, The Body, The Both, Boris, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Clarice Jensen, Death of Lovers, The Dismemberment Plan, EMA, The Ex, Ex-Void, FACS, Fear Of Men, Frankie Rose, Girls Against Boys, Islands, John Vanderslice, Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein, Mike Krol, Mister Heavenly, Mr Twin Sister, Soulside, S U R V I V E, Swirlies.
