NEW YORK CITY (CelebrityAccess) – Ultra Publishing (UIMP), a major player in the publishing industry, has landed a significant deal with the highly regarded hip-hop artist and songwriter Wheezy. The agreement includes acquiring 427 songs, a substantial addition to their existing catalog. This collection contains tracks with top-tier artists such as Drake, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, and Lil Uzi Vert.

Wheezy, a Mississippi-born artist, first signed with UIMP in 2018. He has since established himself as a top-tier songwriter and producer in the hip-hop genre. His portfolio includes co-writing songs for many artists, including Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Gunna, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Lil Durk, and Playboi Carti. His production skills are also evident on Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits such as “Yes Indeed” by Lil Baby and Drake and “Going Bad” by Meek Mill featuring Drake.

“I’m thrilled to renew my publishing partnership with Ultra. Since the beginning, they’ve played a crucial role in my career, and I’m eagerly anticipating this next phase of success,” Wheezy shared.

“Ultra Publishing is honored to have a collaboration with one of the globe’s top hip-hop producers, Wheezy,” says UIMP Founder and President Patrick Moxey. “No one creates hip-hop like Wheezy. His songwriting and production skills continue to improve, and we’re excited to extend our relationship with Wheezy and his manager, Manny Halley, and contribute to his remarkable success.”

“It’s a rare privilege to work with a talent that continually evolves like Wheezy. Since he joined the company in 2018, he hasn’t just led the hip-hop scene, but has also pushed music’s frontiers,” Andreas Rizek, UIMP’s Head of A&R, North America, added.

“The timing was perfect for a deal like this, giving my client an opportunity to profit from his achievements while he’s still in his prime,” Wheezy’s manager, Manny Halley, shared. “I’m grateful that Patrick, Andreas, and the Ultra team had the foresight to make this happen.”

This deal signifies substantial growth for Ultra Publishing and a tribute to Wheezy’s exceptional talent and success in the music industry.
