Poor Tickets Sales For Isle of Wight

Less than a week after the ESSENTIAL FESTIVAL admitted poor ticket sales, which led to a number of band cancellations at their event, the ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL organizers have revealed they are bracing themselves for just 50% attendance.

To date only 6,000 of a possible 25,000 tickets have been sold for the June 3 all-dayer, the first time the legendary event has been held since 1970. This year The Charlatans, Starsailor, Ash and Led Zeppelin hero Robert Plant are the main draws. However, today (May 14) – some three weeks away from the event – a spokesperson for the festival said "we don't think it'll sell out."
