The jam band subculture now how its own music event. Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment have teamed up to stage the first annual Bonnaroo Music Festival, June 21-23, just outside of Nashville. Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio, String Cheese Incident, Ben Harper and others have been confirmed for the three-day camping and music event.
Bonnaroo will be staged at a 500-acre farm outside Manchester, Tennessee, and feature two stages, late night tents, cutting edge DJs, and a Sunday morning gospel performance. There will also be a festival village with a variety of foods and arts & crafts vendors.
For one week only beginning March 23, the festival site is offering a specially priced ticket for $100 (plus service and shipping charges) for all three days of music and includes parking and camping. These tickets will be available only through www.bonnaroo.com and participating artists' websites.
On March 30 ticket prices will increase to $125.00 (plus service and shipping charges) and become available from Ticketmaster (phones and web sales only) beginning on April 6.
The ticket will be a specially designed souvenir ticket, unique to the Bonnaroo Music Festival. All tickets will be
shipped via 2-day shipping and will require a signature upon receipt. Ticket buyers will be notified via email when the tickets will be shipped.
