Nettwerk Music Group Acquires Robot Of The Century Music


LONG ISLAND CITY, NY (VIP-NEWS) — Nettwerk Music Group has acquired the publishing catalogue formed by Roadrunner founder Cees Wessels, Robot Of the Century Music.

The catalogue includes songs by Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Young the Giant and Black Stone Cherry.

According to Billboard the acquisition price is estimated to be in the range of $3.5 million and $4.5 million.

Nettwerk has seen growth across its label, management and publishing divisions over the past 12 months, with the addition of a Nashville office, a joint venture with Los Angeles-based 1916 Management and most recently, the 50% acquisition and publishing joint venture with Ten Ten Music Group.

The current Nettwerk roster includes artists such as Passenger, Family of the Year, fun., Guster, Wanting, Sinead O’Connor, Perfume Genius, Stereophonics, Olafur Arnalds and Chromeo, as well as songwriters like Neil Mason, Jesse Jo Dillon and Andy Hill.
