Dropkick Murphy's Take Gov. Scott Walker To Task For Music Choices

DES MOINES (CelebrityAccess) — Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker appears to have used the wrong music during his appearance at the Iowa Freedom Summit on Saturday, when his team chose "I'm Shipping Up to Boston," for his entrance to the event.

Following Walker's appearance, Dropkick Murphy's frontman Ken Casey tweeted about the use of their music, suggesting that the Republican governor had not sought permission.

"@ScottWalker @GovWalker please stop using our music in any way…we literally hate you !!! – Love, Dropkick Murphys," Casey tweeted.

According to Bloomberg, who first reported on the story, no one from any of the parties involved, including Representatives for Walker, the Iowa Freedom Summit, and the Dropkick Murphys, responded to requests for comment on the issue. – Staff Writers
