NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sponsorship specialist Tom Worcester has signed on with CAA to help the agency develop opportunities for the company's music and comedy clients.
Prior to joining CAA, Worcester spent a six year tenure at IMG, where he served as the agency's senior vice president and managing director of U.S. business development. While at IMG, Worcester was instrumental in forging a pact between Turner Sports and CBS for college basketball's march madness tournament. Variety reported that the deal has generated more than $500 million in sponsorship and media sales. He departed the company in December, 2010.
According to Variety, Worcester has also previously worked for the Grammy Association, Major League Baseball and NBC. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
