Trash-Metal Frontman Killed At Party

BLOOMINGTON, IN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The frontman of a thrash-metal punk band was stabbed fatally during an altercation at a house party where the band was performing.

Chris Johnson, the 32-year-old lead singer of Minneapolis-based band Useless Wooden Toys was allegedly stabbed by Brian White after Johnson intervened to prevent White from groping a woman at the party.

"The victim witnessed the suspect grab the female by the buttocks and he stepped in and said, 'Knock that off. We're not going to tolerate that,'" police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Canada told ABC news.

A fist fight ensued which was broken up and White asked to leave. Instead, White allegedly followed Johnson into the yard and fatally stabbed him before fleeing into a neighbor's basement where he was subsequently taken into police custody.

Johnson was rushed to the Bloomington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
