KENAI, Alaska (CelebrityAccess) – Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning country musician Zac Brown has lost a bid to limit snoopers on his private property in Alaska, according to The Associated Press.

Brown reportedly sought to remove easements allowing access along his property, however, KSRM-AM has reported that the bid was rejected in a 5-4 vote by a planning commission on the Kenai Peninsula, south of Anchorage, on Monday.

According to Brown’s petition, people frequently come up to his home – which is located at the end of a secluded road in the town of Homer – to snoop around and look into the windows.

Brown, who says he has already purchased surrounding property in an attempt to better ensure his family’s privacy, will now need to submit his request for a state review if he wants to continue with his attempt to remove the easements, reports AP.
