Collins Open To Reunion

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Could a Genesis reunion be in the offing? There's no official word but Singer Phil Collins says he is willing to reunite his old band Genesis.

Collins, 54, is currently on the road with his First Final Farewell tour has said that he intends to stop touring to spend time with his family, but that he is "open" to the idea of taking up the drums with Genesis again. Collins, who took over singing when Peter Gabriel left the roster in 1975 said that he is willing to get behind the kit again and let Peter take over the vocals if the original lineup was to reunite.

"If it happens, I'll be there," said Collins.

Both Collins and his agent John Giddings have been quoted by the BBC recently about the convivial relationship enjoyed by the ex-band mates, prompting speculation by some in the industry that they might be feeling out the reunion prospects. Stay tuned for more as this story develops.
