Haim Cancels European Tour

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — American pop-punk trio Haim have announced the cancellation of their European tour, including a series of festival dates.

Affected dates include planned performances at Sweden's Way Out West, The Frequency Festival in Austria, Electric Picnic in Ireland, and the Leeds and Reading festivals in the UK.

In a handwritten note posted to their Instagram account, the members of the band write that they need more time to finish their second studio album, their follow-up to 2013's "Days Are Gone."

"We'd hoped to be done with recording, but as it turns out, we're at a critical point of finishing up and need to stay close to home until it's complete," the note said.
