I.M.P. Helps Produce D.C. Earth Day Event


WASHINGTON D.C. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Earth Day Network and Green Apple Festival have tapped Bethesda-based promoter I.M.P. to help produce this year's Earth Day festivities on the National Mall in Washington D.C on April 19th

The free First Amendment event featured speakers including Lisa Jackson, EPA Administrator; George Hawkins, Director DC Department of Environment; Matthew Modine, Actor and Environmentalist; Majora Carter, Founder Sustainable South Bronx; Kathleen Rogers and President, Earth Day Network. The event was emceed by actor Chevy Chase and feature The Flaming Lips, moe., Los Lobos, DJ Spooky, and the Joy of Motion Dance Center’s teen hip hop company, Urban Impact. I.M.P. handled stage management and artist relations.
