CUPERTINO, CA (Hypebot) – Apple announced that it has sold over 1.7 million of its new iPhone 4 through Saturday June 26th, just three days after its debut on June 24th.
“This is the most successful product launch in Apple’s history,” crowed CEO Steve Jobs. “Even so, we apologize to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply.”
Many iPhone 4 users also wish that Jobs would apologize for reception problems that many users are having when they hold the phone in a fairly typical fashion.
Gizmodo has even started a petition demanding that Apple give out free cases that reportedly fixes the problem.
