NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The 40/40 club ran into a little snag just one day after their much-ballyhooed grand re-opening when inspectors shut the club down by the Department of Health.
According to the New York Post, the club was hit with 69 violations, including issues such as food stored at unsafe temperatures and other unsafe food handling practices. 69 violations are almost double the amount needed for New York Health Department’s lowest possible rating of C.
The club, owned by Jay-Z just underwent a $10 million renovation. The shutdown only lasted for a day and after apparently cleaning up their act, the club was open for business the following night. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
