LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Variety is reporting that CAA motion picture literary agent Jill Cutler has accepted an offer from award-winning producer Irwin Winkler to be president of his production company, Winkler Films.
Cutler, a 15 year veteran of CAA has worked with Winkler in the past, representing him and she has been closely involved in the production of a number of his films, including a project slated for release on Dec. 15 which features Samuel L. Jackson, 50 Cent and Jessica Biel.
"She was an assistant when I first met her, and what I used to do was give her scripts and she used to write reports for me," Winkler told the Hollywood Reporter "She has since grown into a fully rounded literary agent who has great taste and who gets along great with writers. She's now going to be the president of my company, and I'm very happy."
Winkler hopes that the addition of Cutler will help Winkler Films expand into other markets, such as television and to more aggressively pursue additional film projects. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers.
