LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The self-proclaimed King of Pop (in exile) is reportedly in negotiations to build a 50-foot robotic replica of himself to stalk the deserts near Las Vegas.
Sin City has apparently been Jackson's home since his returned from adventures overseas, there to try to re-stake his claim to the throne. According to the New York Daily News, Luckman Van Pier, a partner at the company behind the proposal claims that blueprints have been produced for the robot version of the erstwhile star.
The robot would be the centerpiece of an elaborate stage production which would feature, among other things, Jackson riding about the desert on his robot which would fire lasers from its eyes.
Van Pier told the Daily News that "Michael's looked at the sketches and likes them," adding that "It would be in the desert sands. Laser beams would shoot out of it so it would be the first thing people flying in would see."
This reporter however thinks that some people may have spent too much time in the hot Las Vegas sun. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
