LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation announced via an SEC filing today that they have elected their slate for the company's board of directors.
Mark Carleton, Jonathan Dolgen, Ari Emanuel, Ted Enloe, Jeff Hinson, Jimmy Iovine, Peggy Johnson, Jim Kahan, Greg Maffei, Randall Mays, Michael Rapino and Mark Shapiro have all been elected to continue serving on the company's board for a term of one year, until the company's annual meeting of stockholders is held in 2017.
Shareholders also voted in approval of Live Nation's executive compensation plan, however, as is the case with most corporations these days, the vote was entirely advisory rather than binding.
Liberty Media's Greg Maffei retains his position as chairman of Live Nation's board of directors and Liberty is also represented by Mark Carleton, who has served on the board since 2010. – Staff Writers
