'Movin Out' To End Its Three Year Tour

BIRMINGHAM (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After a three year national tour, the producers of 'Movin' Out' announced that the play will end it's successful run on January 21, 2007.

According to Playbill, the play will make its last stop in Birmingham, AL. The dance-heavy musical which includes songs performed by Billy Joel and an onstage band, has been performed 1,111 times in the three year run. Directed and choreographed by Twyla Tharp, the play tells the story of five friends/lovers through 3 decades of romance and conflict.

The tour garnered awards in 2005 for Best New Musical and Best Choreography from The League of American Theatres and Producers Touring Broadway Awards and was produced by James L.
