Nick Cave Inducted Into Aria Hall Of Fame

SYDNEY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Nice Cave, Australian-born frontman for the band The Bad Seeds has been announced as the latest induction to the Australian Recording Industry Association's (ARIA) Hall of Fame.

Cave, who made a reputation for himself as an iconoclast, first with his band The Birthday Party and more recently, The Bad Seeds is known for his diverse musical efforts, ranging from blues-punk to re-imaginations of traditional murder ballads.

"Nick Cave has enjoyed – and continues to enjoy – one of the most extraordinary careers in the annals of popular music. As an industry we should be immensely proud and humbled by Nick Cave's achievements." said Ed St John, the Aria Awards committee chairman.

Cave's most recent efforts will be featured on the soundtrack to the forthcoming Brad Pitt film "The Assassination of Jesse James by the outlaw Robert Ford." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
