Collin Raye is the first artist signed to the new indie label Aspirion Records. His first single, "I Know That's Right" will be released in September and a full CD will follow in October 2005. "We're proud to have Collin Raye on Aspirion Records," said label president George Collier. "He is our initial signing for this label, and we are excited to debut with someone of his stature. He has one of the best voices in country music. We're looking forward to a long relationship with Collin and his management."
Aspirion Records Group, Inc. is a privately owned label which is currently signing established artists. The corporate objective is to continue to build each artists' exposure through national radio, video and retail promotion and marketing. the label will also be selectively looking for new and unique artists to build its new artist roster. The label also is actively looking for completed CD product to distribute nationally and internationally.
Aspirion Records Group, is headed by industry veteran Collier, who has more than three decades of music industry experience. During that time, he has held multiple positions at MCA, Atlantic, Capitol, and Intersound / Platinum Records.
Heading up marketing and media for the label is Steve Baker. During his 15 years in the industry, he has accumulated extensive experience in video promotion, marketing, press, radio promotion and artist management.
Radio promotion for the label's artists will be directed by Joe Kelly. Also a 15 year industry veteran, Kelly has broad experience in radio promotion, label operations and artist management. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
