CULLMAN, Ala. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Cullman Mayor Max Townson has said that the city has signed an agreement with the promoters for the Rock the South Festival that will see the event staged in the town for the next five years.
The festival debuted last year, and is returned this year on June 21st and 22nd at Heritage Park in Cullman, Ala. The lineup for this year's event included Coal Rain, The Railers, Scott McCreery, Sara Evans, Deejay Silver, Jamie Johnson and Hank Williams Jr.
The festival last year was held on the one-year anniversary of a severe tornado that struck the region and the event is intended as a celebration of "our recovery, our commitment to one another, and our Southern way of life." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
