Stephanie Smith And Melissa Reddington Come Aboard At Ruth Eckard


CLEARWATER, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ruth Eckard Hall has named Stephanie Smith as Chief Development Officer and Melissa Reddington as Director of Membership of Ruth Eckerd Hall and the Capitol Theatre in downtown Clearwater.

Smith's portfolio will include planning, directing and organizing the development functions of the organization to achieve fundraising goals for Ruth Eckerd Hall and the Capitol Theatre, Stephanie will also provide leadership, support, training and direction for the development staff. Stephanie will also help to develop a new philanthropic and sponsorship campaign to support the venue.

Smith is no stranger to Ruth Eckard, having worked there from 1998 to 2006 that including a stint as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of Ruth Eckerd Hall Foundation, Member Events Associate and Associate Director of Dress Circle and Funded Life before she joined Lighthouse of Pinellas, a private non-profit agency that has provided vision rehabilitation for more than 56 years in Pinellas County, as Director of Development.

Melissa Reddington's duties will include overseeing the membership programs at Ruth Eckerd Hall. She will also plan, implement and monitor the program services and benefits.

Reddington, a Certified Meeting Planner, joins Ruth Eckerd Hall with 4 years of arts venue sales and 5 years of fundraising experience including most recently Development Coordinator at Chapters Health System where she was responsible for managing special events, working with volunteers, committee members and working with donors and Board members.

Stephanie Smith will join the staff on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 and Melissa Reddington will join the staff on Monday, December 5, 2011. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
