LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Nederlander Concerts has tapped Mike Goldsmith to serve as Director of Talent for the 1,700-seat City National Grove of Anaheim, effective immediately.
Goldsmith will oversee booking and event promotion for the venue on behalf of Nederlander Concerts. Goldsmith will also be responsible for booking talent for other Nederlander venues as well as other venues through the western U.S.
Goldsmith comes to Nederlander after a stint at Concerts West/AEG Live, where he was a tour director for North America. Goldsmith oversaw tour ticketing, marketing and production plus was responsible for routing, business plans and tour financials. Prior to that, he worked for Live Nation Touring where he managed touring properties and advised on specific touring markets.
Goldsmith also has some agency experience, spending 5 years as an Agent Trainee with the William Morris Agency from 1999-2004. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
