Striker Strikes Tour

VANCOUVER, BC (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — One more band has fallen ash to Iceland’s unpronounceable volcano. Here Striker issues a statement to their disappointment as to their cancelled European tour:

"Hi guys, unfortunately the rumours are true, our flight was cancelled due to the volcano in Iceland and we are unable to re-book in time for the Keep it True festival this weekend or any of the other European tour dates. We regret that because of the cancellation of these dates we will also be unable to play the Pounding Metal festival in Madrid on May 8. We are obviously very disappointed as we’ve been looking forward to this for over a year. But what can you do, it’s a fucking volcano…"

"A big thank you to Oliver at Keep it true, everyone at Pounding Metal Union in Spain and our label Iron Kodex for all the hard work they put into making these tour dates possible."

"Our new album 'Eyes in the Night' is being released this Friday at the Keep it True festival and we plan to book a new European tour in support of this as soon as possible." –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
