SEATTLE (Hypebot) – Fans want iTunes to price match Amazon.
With a keynote from Steve Jobs coming this month, the writers behind TMM surveyed their readers on what they hoped will be announced.
86% of them want iTunes to price match with Amazon's services. It's possible, but not likely.
With 70% of the digital music download market, Apple doesn't need to play catch up.
After all, Amazon's Daily Deals don't appear to have challenged their dominance.
Additionally, 71% of people want reduced the restrictions on variable song and album pricing. And 57% of people are unconcerned about easier integration with third party services. Other readers said the iTunes sample rate isn't high enough.
They want higher quality music.
