LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Well-informed sources close to CelebrityAccess have told us that veteran agent Russell Warby is leaving the Agency Group to join the growing ranks of the William Morris Agency's London Office.
The current disposition of Russell's solid roster of talent has yet to be made clear. While at the Agency Group, Russell represented The White Stripes, The Vines, Stereolab and Squarepusher amongst others.
Warby is the latest in a series of high-profile agents and managers who have found themselves new digs as the London music scene continues to transform itself in the wake of Sanctuary's woes.
Warby has told those in the industry the following:
You may have heard that I am leaving The Agency. After twelve excellent years, I am saying goodbye to some great friends and allies.
I am moving into the London office of the William Morris Agency, and will start there on the 22nd January.
