Mudtopia Festival To Debut In New Zealand

ROTURA, NZ (CelebrityAccess) — New Zealanders may get a taste of the 'Glastonbury experience' with the launch of a new festival in the island nation.

Mudtopia, a three-day music mud-themed festival set for December at Arawa Park in Rotorua promises to feature a lineup drawn from international and regional artists.

“As well as the mud stage and mud arena, there will be mud sports, mud pools, mud obstacle courses, a mud run and a dedicated mud zone for kids,” Festival director Scott Rice said.

The festival is being developed in partnership with organizers for the Boryeong Mud Festival, an annual event staged in July in South Korea which attracts more than a million visitors over a two-week period each year.
