NEW ZEALAND (CelebrityAccess) The due of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, better known as the comedy group Flight of the Conchords, have postponed a series of tour dates because of McKenzie broke two bones in his hand.
“Unfortunately I’ve broken two bones in my hand today in a very rock ‘n’ roll injury – falling down some stairs,” McKenzie said in a statement. “The doctors have informed me that I won’t be able to perform for several weeks. I’m sorry not to be able to do these upcoming shows but I’m looking forward to coming back and finishing the tour when I have two fully functioning hands.”
The duo’s 13 U.K. performances of the Flight of the Conchords Sing Flight of the Conchords Tour were to begin in London Sunday night.
Ticket holders will be contacted about the rescheduling of dates, according to Metropolis Music, Live Nation, and Chambers Touring.
