ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) State Bank & Trust Company has been announced as the new naming rights sponsor for Atlanta’s Chastain Park Amphitheatre and will be known as State Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park.
The Georgia-based bank, operating in seven of the state’s largest markets, signed a multiyear agreement with Live Nation but details were not disclosed. The longtime amphitheatre has John Fogerty & ZZ Top, Barenaked Ladies and Better Than Ezra, and Robert Plant on the books for the summer, among others.
“Adding our name to this great music destination hits a high note for the State Bank,” State Bank CEO Tom Wiley said. “We’re happy to partner with Chastain Park and Live Nation to be part of the next chapter of Georgia’s rich musical history.”
The 7,000-capacity shed, home to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, had a recent $5 million renovation, and had three between 1984 and 2004. It was once known as Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheatre and was originally constructed in June 1944.
