PUYALLUP, WA. (CelebrityAccess) – Legendary rock band Chicago will kick off the Washington State Fair, Friday, Aug. 31 as part of the 2018 Columbia Bank Concert Series.
As the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades, Chicago is said to be “planning a show unlike any other that they’ve done before.” Scheduled to play two sets during the fair’s opening weekend, Chicago’s first set will feature a full-length performance of their historic double-album, Chicago II, in its entirety, while their second, which the band has jokingly described as the “world’s longest encore,” will be filled with their greatest hits including “25 Or 6 To 4,” “Make Me Smile,” “Wake Up Sunshine,” and “Colour My World.”
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 11 at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. Prices are $70, $60 and $40 and include Fair gate admission. Tickets will also go on sale for additional artists in the coming months.
