NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) The rivalry between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj has gone into full-on beast mode after a confrontation at a New York Fashion Week party last night.
Cardi B and Minaj showed up at the Harper’s Bazaar party. Minaj and her entourage were at a table when Cardi B “aggressively approached the table,” eyewitnesses told TMZ.
“Let me tell you something,” Cardi B allegedly said while lunging at Minaj and, as security pulled her away, threw a shoe at Minaj, missing her target. Cardi B left the party with one shoe on her foot.
Sources told TMZ that Cardi B was not looking for a fight when she approached the table but wanted to “address the lies Nicki was spreading.” They said it was possible security had a plan if Cardi B got near, they’d stop her but one elbowed her in her face (causing a noticeable lump) and at that point Cardi B went Super Saiyan.
Minaj reportedly remained calm throughout.
Not long afterward, Cardi B fired off the following tweet: “I’ve let a lot of s*** slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me …But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f***in off!!”
