BERLIN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rights management company BMG has acquired the catalog of EDM music publisher Talpa Music. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Talpa Music – now renamed BMG Talpa Music – is a leading publisher of local repertoire in the region, with a roster that includes Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, Giorgio Tuinfort, Fabian Lenssen, Laidback Luke and Nicky Romero. The Talpa Music-published "Waves" by Mr. Probz is currently charting at #1 in Germany.
The new BMG Talpa Music Board of Directors will consist of Hartwig Masuch, BMG CEO, Dr. Maximilian Dressendörfer, BMG CFO, and Tony Berk, former Talpa Music B.V.
