INDIO, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Iconic rock band, the Eagles have been tapped to headline the newly added third day (Friday, May 2) of the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, the counterpoint to Goldenvoice's Coachella, in Indio, CA, May 2, 3 and 4. The Eagles will join an already strong line-up at the Empire Polo Field that includes Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, the Judds, Carrie Underwood and Big & Rich.
The Eagles–Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit–will perform current hits from their new album, Long Road Out of Eden, including the Grammy-award winning "How Long" ('est Country Performance by Duo or Group) and "Busy Being Fabulous," as well as old favorites from their catalog.
The Friday Stagecoach line-up will also include performances from John Fogerty, Trisha Yearwood, Shelby Lynne, Glen Campbell and Rissi Palmer. More than 50 acts of various musical genres–mainstream country, bluegrass, folk, roots rock and alt-country–will perform on four stages (Mane, Palomino, Appaloosa and Mustang) over the three-day weekend.
Stagecoach is staged at the same location as Coachella, the following weekend. The inaugural installment of the festival last year was heralded as a ringing success and this year is shaping up to be a repeat performance. Ticket purchasers who'd already acquired tickets can upgrade for Friday for an additional $65, plus applicable fees or single day reserved upgrades for $195, plus applicable fees. Upgrades will be available now through February 22. Additionally, three-day general admission passes will go on sale beginning today for $249 plus applicable fees. Three-day reserved seating will go on sale Tuesday, February 19 at 12 Noon (PT) for $585 plus applicable fees.
