SYDNEY (VIP NEWS) — AC/DC are set to release a live CD/DVD package in the spring.
The band filmed their three shows at Buenos Aires' River Plate Stadium in December 2009, each of which was in front of over 60,000 people.
Speaking to motor racing news service OversteerTV, singer Brian Johnson said: “We’ve got a new live album which we shot in Argentina at the end of the last tour, which was about September. The live album comes out, with the video of those concerts, in about six weeks or something. So I’m looking forward to that.”
Johnson added that the Australian rockers had no firm plans beyond this.
“After that [the live release] we haven’t made any plans," he said. "We just want to have a rest, because we were on the road for two years. We played in front of five million people, and we deserve a rest.”
The new album will be the band’s sixth live record. The last one they released was 1997’s ‘Let There Be Rock: The Movie – Live in Paris’.
