G’N’R Adds Second New Zealand Show Following Rapid Sell Out

AUCKLAND, NZ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Fans snapped up more than 12,000 tickets to Guns N’ Roses planned Auckland show on Monday morning in less than an hour, driving organizers to scramble together a second performance.

The second concert was announced shortly after the tickets were sold out, and went on sale this afternoon.

The second show will take place on June 30, the day after the first, at Auckland’s Vector Arena.

Concert promoter Paul Dainty told the New Zealand Herald that he knew demand would be strong, given the intense interest levels across the country.

“Guns N’ Roses have not been in New Zealand since 1993 so it’s been a long wait to see this legendary band; we expect tickets for the final show will sell out fast,” he told the paper. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
